Understand how this works

Interest on savings

To earn interest, sign up to Wio Personal ‘Plus’ Plan, create Saving Spaces for your goals. Get 6% interest p.a. on savings up to AED 5 million, 4% p.a. on savings above AED 5 million, and 2% p.a. on your USD savings.
For example, if you have AED 6 million in your Saving Spaces, you’ll earn 6% interest p.a. for the first AED 5 million and 4% interest p.a. on the additional AED 1 million. The additional 2% p.a. up to 5 million will be credited separately in your AED current account, instead of your Saving Space.
These interest rates are valid until December 31, 2023. The interest is calculated daily and credited monthly on the first day of each month.

Monthly account fees

Your account fee can be waived every month. If you’re signed up to Wio Personal ‘Standard’ plan, you must keep at least AED 3,000 across your accounts every month. If you’re on the Wio ‘Plus’ plan, you must keep at least AED 35,000 across your accounts. You can check your total amount in your dashboard. This includes your main account, savings and investments.
If you don’t keep the total amount needed to waive your monthly fee, you’ll be charged AED 25/month for Wio Personal ‘Standard’ plan or AED 49/month for Wio Personal ‘Plus’ plan.
